Board Biographies

Deborah Davidson (she/her)
Artist, Curator, Educator
FOUNDER, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Deborah is an artist, curator and educator. She received her M.F.A. from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts/Tufts University and B.A. from Binghamton University. She is the founder and artistic director of Catalyst Conversations, a non-profit organization devoted to the dialogue between art and science. She is currently part of the core faculty of the MFA in Visual Arts program at Clark University, maintains a studio practice and directs the Suffolk University Gallery.

Linda Pagani (she/her)
Artist
BOARD CHAIR, TREASURER (INTERIM)

Linda is a multidisciplinary artist and experiential designer, exploring the interconnectedness of space and time. Her work is rooted in the influences of environment on the personal. Pagani has pursued diverse creative collaborations in art, design, fashion and travel, aspiring to bring more attention to collective synergies. She utilizes her education in Economics, Interior Architecture and Fine Arts to promote the intersections of art and the social sciences. Pagani’s interest in cultural understanding is woven into her creative practice and stems from her Polish heritage. Her work is exhibited nationally and internationally, and held in private and public collections, including MFA Boston.

Alberta Chu (she/her)
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Alberta is a cultural producer and creative entrepreneur. In 2022, Chu launched Facetopo, a personalized software platform for beauty and wellness. She is the Founder of ASKlabs, a digital content production company, established in Boston in 2004. As cultural producer and documentary filmmaker, Chu works collaboratively to develop transformative and engaging content and experiences, including science programming, art documentaries, and mobile apps that bring creativity and innovation to global audiences. Alberta's award-winning documentaries often explore the intersection of science and art and the process of making.

Catheline van den Branden (she/her)
Artist, Executive

Catheline is a multidisciplinary artist and seasoned non-profit executive. She is the former president and executive director of the French Library/French Cultural Center in Boston and a former cultural attaché for the government of Québec. In 2018 Catheline was named Knight in the Order of Academic Palms (Chevalier dans l’ordre des Palmes Académiques).  In 2021 Catheline was awarded the Robyn Gittleman Teaching Fellowship at Tufts University. Aside from art-making, teaching and doing related research, Catheline is also a long-time committee member and supporter of the Emerald Necklace Conservancy.

Amber Krasinski (she/her)

Amber Krasinski is a brand communications and PR strategist and content creator. She is the Founder and principal of Ivy Hill Strategies.

Laura Zittrain (she/her)
Curator and Educator
BOARD VICE-CHAIR

Laura is a curator, teacher and writer who studies science and spirituality, including the rituals and practices of those disciplines. She designs and leads workshops, classes and exhibitions that concern technology, mysticism, and the body. Her work extends from archival research in the history of chatbots and AI, to organizing hackathons like “Make the Breast Pump Not Suck,” and creating immersive soundscapes of celestial and human bodies.

She is partial to dystopian science fiction and Busby Berkeley numbers, and can often be seen in a cowboy hat in Cambridge, MA where lives and works.

Asya Calixto (she/her)
General Counsel, 3Play Media
BOARD ASSISTANT CLERK

Asya is a lawyer who has spent her career at the intersection of art and technology. In private practice, she advised reporters, authors, artists, filmmakers, and publishers on First Amendment and IP matters.  Asya moved into video technology in 2016, first at a video streaming software company and now as General Counsel at 3Play Media, which combines AI and human expertise to make videos globally accessible through features like captions and dubbing. She is an active member of The Global Creative and Security Community, where she leads discussions about the evolving realm of synthetic voices. is a health coach dedicated to helping women strengthen the mind-body connection through evidence-based strategies and sustainable habits. She blends her background in mental well-being, fitness, and lifestyle design to support women in creating lasting change.

Jordan Greer (she/her)
Marine Engineer, Artist

Jordan Greer is a geotechnical engineer working on ports and maritime infrastructure, where she integrates technical rigor with sustainable practices, nature-based design, and biomimicry. She is also a potter whose practice engages naturally occurring clay as both material and geological archive; through experimentation and process-led making, she explores the way form emerges through pressure, heat, and time. Her work moves between infrastructure and studio practice, connecting earth systems, material intelligence, and transformation at both human and geological scales.

Alyson Jenkins (she/her)
MSW, NASM-CPT | Health Coach for Women

Alyson is a health coach dedicated to helping women strengthen the mind-body connection through evidence-based strategies and sustainable habits. She blends her background in mental well-being, fitness, and lifestyle design to support women in creating lasting change.

Alongside her coaching practice, Alyson spent 13 years working in nonprofit leadership and social media strategy, amplifying voices and missions that drive meaningful impact. This dual experience allows her to combine creativity, communication, and wellness in unique and powerful ways.

After spending more than a decade raising her family in Japan, Alyson brings a global perspective to Catalyst Conversations, blending mindful living with curiosity-driven dialogue. Her work encourages audiences to look beyond boundaries and discover how creativity and science inform the way we live, work, and thrive.

Jasmine Chen (she/her)
Artist

Jasmine Chen makes expansive, multi-layered paintings that are informed by and contemplate the diasporic existence across space, time, and disciplines. Her works are in private and museum collections in China, India, and the U.S. Most recently, she is a finalist for the 2026 Dewey Square Mural in Boston. She studied applied math at Harvard College and has a PhD in economics from Brandeis University.

Roeshana Moore-Evans (she/her)
Founder, Equity Empowerment Consulting

Roeshana Moore-Evans (she/her) is a social impact strategist and public memory leader committed to advancing equity through truth-telling, community engagement, and systemic change. She is the Founder and Principal Strategist of Equity Empowerment Consulting and currently serves as Director of the Living Memorial at King’s Chapel in Boston, where she leads efforts to address the church’s historical ties to slavery. Previously, she was the inaugural Executive Director of Harvard University’s Legacy of Slavery Initiative, guiding a $100 million institutional reparative justice effort. A Boston native, Roeshana holds a Bachelor’s degree and MBA from UMass Boston and is known for building partnerships that drive lasting, meaningful change.

Stephanie Oestreich (she/her)
Managing Director, Myeloma Investment Fund

Dr. Stephanie Oestreich, MPA is Executive Vice President, Head of BRIDGEs Partnerships North America for Evotec in Boston, building alliances with academics and financing partners to bring innovative science to proof of concept and start companies.

Stephanie conducted the research for her PhD in biochemistry at Harvard Medical School and obtained an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School.

In her spare time, she performs as a semi-professional violinist with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and has played with them in Carnegie Hall in New York. She also plays with the Longwood Symphony Orchestra and the Kendall Square Orchestra and has performed with members of the Berlin, Vienna and Graz Philharmonic Orchestras, the Bamberg Symphony in Baden Baden Festival Hall, the Tonhalle Orchestra in Zurich, and at the Salzburg and the Verbier Festival.

Ambika Patni (she/her)
Founder, Centella Marketing Consultancy

With over 20 years of experience in brand strategy and consumer insights, Ambika Patni is the founder of Studio Centella, a marketing consultancy. She most recently served as VP of Brand Marketing at Arcaea/Future Society, a DTC biotech fragrance startup, and spent a decade at Jo Malone London (Estée Lauder Companies), helping build it into one of the world's top-selling fragrance brands. She has consulted with companies including SharkNinja, Mixst Beauty, Neolastin, and Novata. Ambika holds a BA from Harvard University and an MBA from London Business School and serves on the Board of Directors of Miami Growth Machine.
