Artist Wendy Jacob and engineer Greg McDaniel are fascinated by vibration. Jacob uses low frequency sound in installations and organized events to explore relationships between architecture, place, and physical experience. Most of McDaniel’s research falls in the area of structural acoustics and involves interactions of vibrations and acoustics with complex structures and media. Jacob and McDaniel shared their interests in vibration and discussed recent collaborations.
